The Big Reveal

It has been a long time since I had a blog post. My last actual post was last August because I have been so busy with work. In addition to that, we received a big surprise - I found out that we're pregnant! It was so overwhelming.  It's not that we're not trying, but we were still caught by surprise!

Last October, I noticed that my AF was delayed by 2 weeks. I decided to try and do a home pregnancy test and I got a faint positive.  I tried testing by day to see if it will change. Some say that it can turn out to be false positive, or if the lines continue to be faint, it might be a blighted ovum.

We went to the doctor and since it was too early , my OB just prescribed some tests and vitamins and asked me to go back on my 4th week. My 4th week came and my OB did a TVS, and there it was. My OB pointed out the fetus' heart which was already beating. It was barely recognizable, more like a white speck against a black screen.  The feeling was surreal. I can't imagine a tiny little being forming, growing inside me.

I waited until it was confirmed by the doctor before I told everyone (Of course we told our parents first and they were ecstatic!). 

Even before the pregnancy was confirmed, I was already searching for pregnancy reveal ideas. There were a lot of awesome ideas in pinterest. But the one that we came up with was this:

Some got it right away, unfortunately some did not. And I blame it on hubby's acting. Just kidding Haha.

Right now I'm on my 18th week (approximately 4 and 1/2 months) and don't be surprised to read more maternity/pregnancy stuff from now on!
